Snef: The Strength of a Group with Over 120 Years of History

Founded in 1905, Groupe Snef's began as a ship’s electrician in the Port of Marseille and subsequently expanded throughout France’s ports and shipyards. True to its commitment to continuous improvement, the Group then turned its attention to industry, eventually becoming a recognized leader in energy and infrastructure, and later in digital technology.

In 2020, the Group’s historic electrical engineering operations were transferred to an operational subsidiary, which continues to bear the name Snef.

Our subsidiary, Snef Power Services, supports the French nuclear industry and international players in meeting safety, quality, and security requirements, and contributes to the vitality of the nuclear industry throughout France.

Finally, Snef has established a network of complementary operations internationally, strengthening its ability to undertake complex, multi-sector projects:

Safety is a core value for the Group and is fully integrated into its day-to-day operations. In this area, Snef’s sole objective is to achieve zero accidents.

Health, Safety, and Environment Culture: Training, safety orientation, Safety Day, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns.

Risk Management: Managerial commitment, managerial site visits, compliance with regulations.

2024 Results: +6,600 training sessions/informal talks, +4,000 managerial site visits, 0 serious accidents.
